Hello there everyone. Iam currently using quite an old Sony Ericcson W810i !!! Which after being a great servent, seems to be on its way out.

I have a bit of a problem on where I stand on obtaining a new mobile phone with O2. Iam currently an O2 customer, I pay £14.99 a month but Iam not 100% sure if this is still under a contract or not. Im also unsure of what I get for paying this amount per month, however it seems comfortable as I never get charged any extra for calls/texts/internet usage or anything like that.

So there we have it, any help from now on would be great!

When going through the purchasing stage it asks me to select a tariff. But when I receive the phone ill be just putting in my current sim, so would I be right in saying that when I select the tariff on the purchasing part, it doesnt really matter which tariff I choose because I wont be using it in affect ?

As long as you buy it PAYG you will be fine.

If you select any of the other tariffs then you will enter into a contract

But its asthough I have to select a tariff when going through the Pay & Go terms I can choose from either Text & Web, Favourite Place or Your Country

Those are just different perks you get with your top ups, if you don't use the sim it won't make any difference.

Ah ok, so I can just choose one of these tariffs ? but in the end it wont matter because ill be sticking with my current sim ?
