My number on SIM

Anonymous
Not applicable

How the heck do I get my phone number to show up on my SIM?

If I do the About Phone - Status bit the My Number bit just says unknown.

I have an app that needs to SIM to know what my number is.

How do I get it on the SIM?

You can use an iPhone or BlackBerry to write your number to the sim too.

I believe my iPhone 5s did just that MI5.

Must do this automatically.

I know my number by heart now however generally speaking Pay Monthly SIM's don't display the number, at least on O2 anyway.

Indubitably true. Samsung S21 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 Ultra

Seems to be the best solution to the OP's problem. I wasn't aware the iphone had that capability so thanks for that. As I say, I'm sure your local O2 store would be happy to help.
