Ok this is really starting to **** me off
Im getting text messages sent thru multiple times , have checked and there is not any faults in my area that hey know off
Is anyone else having this problem
Im on O2 Pay and Go
area - Kilmarnock (KA3) Scotland
Mobile - Samsung Galaxy Europa
this is annoying as hell as the same text can come thru bout 10 times and if u have had some from multiple sources then as u can be aware alot come thru.

any ideas folks.. i have tried manual roam with no joy

YESSSSSSS this has happened to me a couple of times
Saturday night was the worst it was constant,im in Paisley so maybe a problem in our area???

I have this problem too!
Got my phone yesterday and any texts from my mum (no one else) come through about 8 times!
I'm on O2 pay and go
Samsung Galaxy Europa!
I'm near Sheffield (S18)
Anyone found a solution?

Im also getting seriously delayed texts and texts that are sent and credit taken but goto undelivered folder on fone and then resend from there when signal better etc#

but they already send originally as credit gets take also
this is annoying anyone found a solution O2seem to think at first it was my simcard so bought a new one then was told it was the network ????

any ideas?

Wee update my issues were solved by hard resetting my handset and going to factory defaults so must of been an app i had installed possible the handcent sms app

try if anyone else is having issues.

The main cause of this happening is when the handset is not updating with the network correctly and it thinks the message has not been received.
Try a Manual Network Selection by going into the phones Menu --> Settings --> Network Selection --> Manual --> Select a Network other than O2 - UK such as vodafone UK, Orange, T-Mobile UK --> Wait for the "Rejected" or "Unavailable" Message to be displayed and then re-select O2 - UK.

Aye treid that every day m8 never solved me problem
Only way i could solve it was to do a heard reset and wipe all date from it then make sure i dont install any alternative sms apps on handset
it works fine now
