They don't like to part with their money..... do they?

O2 Recycling..... Blackberry 8900 £58.

The others.... best price £66.

Freepost for many of them, if you are prepared to send it through normal postage.

Surely there should be a minimum price quoted and those in mint condition should receive a bit more?

Those in mint condition will receive the price quoted. Those not in mint condition will get a percentage deducted. It's in the terms and conditions. I actually found o2 very competitive when returning the handsets I owned.

I have gone for Mazuma, not for price but for the loads of positive feedback on the net.

I had thought about giving it to somebody who needs it.... but I have done that all my life and it seems nobody does it to me. So, in a childish, miserable tantrum I am selling it for beer money. wink

In my experience of doing this a few times the price they quote you is the top price and it will be reduced for cosmetic damage etc.

Knowing what I now know I would use Mazuma every time. They are quick, efficient and although they do not always pay the top price they have never ever argued or done anything other than pay within a few days.

Two other companies I have tried both argued the value down and then took around two weeks to pay.

I have also used the Royal Mail service once with no issues. Never tried O2.

Try the highstreet shop c.e.x.

You'll need to become a member which is free and you'll find they will give you more than you have stated on here. Check out their website www.cex.com to see how much they would give you as straight cash or how much if you wanna trade it in to purchase something else from them. They give more for trade in.

They would take the fone and test it which takes upto an hour and then they will classify it as mint, good or poor condition which reflect the price they will give.

The mail order trade in sites are terrible !
