I use a proporta 7000ma battery pack that has 2.1 amp ipad output and a 1 amp output so I can charger / topup 2 devices at the same time and after trials of various leads (testing with volt / amp meter) have selected the griffin short triple pack usb a to micro, mini and 30pin leads as they cannot get tangled (give higest charge current per device) and have added the apple micro to lightning adaptor.
This combination allows me to charge all my devices away from the mains.

Using this in Thailand...boosts Note 2, S3 and Nexus 7 from one full charge.

I use a New Trent 5000mAh battery with dual USB output, 1 at 1A, the other at 500mA, in addition the iPhone 4S is in a battery flip case from Expansys (£9.99 in a sale) and the Z10 Battery charger bundle (which can charge any micro USB equiped device from the spare Z10 battery).
