Having trouble with O2 customer service?

Been with O2 for over 30 years as a business customer. Had issues over the years but always resolved until now.

Customer service with O2 is not working very well these days and I ended up taking them to the Communications Ombudsman. They were great and gave the kick were it was needed. If they are keeping you on hold for "50" minutes which seems to be the average then being disconnected. They are just wasting your time while they seem to be having a great time at the call centre. I wasted over 30 hours trying to resolve getting a £700 invoice where a normal invoice would be £85. O2 have a new owner so maybe that is the reason why the customer service has gone to pot. Just don't wait as long as I did to contact the Ombudsman.

I don't think you @john91 will get any arguments on here that O2's customer service is deficient. The problem is that is broadly the case for all MNOs in the UK, so if you move provider, there is a good chance that it will be equally mediocre. 👍

Same can be said across a number of industries, even maybe yours @john91 and Mobile Operators are not alone in the decline in Customer Services....
