Just to report a Samsung Galaxy A3 can survive a drop from a kitchen worktop onto a tiled floor without a scratch!

ME? I wouldn't even try...I have spent the afternoon checking her out and making sure she isn't going to have a hissy fit...

She goes to Spain on Tuesday and needs to be up and running... in her fancy 'red dress' (flip cover)

Mine took a nosedive out of my teeshirt pocket running (yep, you read it correctly...running) across a busy road and thankfully a car passed over it but it missed the wheels! Survived the fall ok though

Have you tried the phone today? If its still dead.. black screen, wont turn on or off and wont charge etc then contact Samsung via this link http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/
