We need a way of reporting them directly to the moderators.
I'm still having trouble with new posts too.

This would be laughable if it weren't so serious.
Reason: abusive (user names accused of being potential spammers)
LMAO. They had links to drugs sites in their profile.
Get a grip moderators, the users in this forum are trying to help and our patience is running very thin.

Looking at the new members from the past 2-3 days, and having just been deleting 100 plus spammers from another forum, I suspect a lot of those who have signed up are not real people.
Isn't it possible to set the forum up so that people cannot post until a moderator has checked them out and activated them?

Remember, we are all O2 customers here!
There is a new forum under development and hopefully that will address the spam issues.

Of course I could start legal proceedings for libel.....but on this occasion I won't. But if it happens again I may not take such lenient view.

Should my post @ viewtopic.php?f=1&t=70133 fall foul of the moderators, I have taken the precaution of sending it by PM to Abs@O2 and Chris@O2.

Anyone wanting to see it, please PM me and I'll gladly send it to you.

rave did they delete the offenders?

My mistake....they haven't actually been removed, only the url links have been deleted.
Of course there may be a method of blocking the future use of the username that we're not aware of.
What I can't understand is why a username such as ViagraChik and getxiuwatches is allowed to be registered in the first place.
On registration you receive an email quoting your username and password and you're asked to click on a link to activate the account.
This must be an automatic email produced for everybody with no checking or verification as to authenticity whatsoever otherwise usernames such as the above would be identified.

I've given up flagging spam as there is no way to tell whether the red flag is working or not.
The forum is still painfully slow. 😐
It took 5 goes to post this too.
