Hi everyone, 

In this topic, we'll post any progress on the known plaform issues that you have brought to our attention so far and that we are looking into, along with any future updates we get on them. We thought it would be good to recap what is currently being worked on, and have it all in one place so we can keep you in the loop going forward

Current issues being looked into

-These have been reported to the platform provider and are being investigated-

• Kudos and posting box window not working correctly in the blog section
• New comments on Blog articles (Reviews or Guides) in Unread posts link to the initial post and not the latest comments
• Read comments stuck in Unread Posts even after being read

Current feedback being looked into

-These are being discussed with the different teams involved in the project-

• Various differences between Mobile view and Full view (list here)
• Size of the homepage header
• Image in the hompage header
• Lack of board structure on the homepage

Seriously, if the forum uses your Gmail address, and it's not stuck in your Gmail spam label/folder, then when you pull it into Outlook must be the dodgy link...?

That can't be the the issue though @pgn . I have Chrome on my PC and have checked O2 emails there and no different to those coming in via Outlook. My phone is the same. Last email from the forum was 22.11 last night.

Mine are coming in ok and through Outlook

Try GMail on the web and if they come in there then it's an Outlook setup issue

Tried that @jonsie last night and 3 times today and no difference. Last email on phone, Gmail via Chrome on PC and Gmail via outlook on pc, last email was 22.11pm last night.

Assuming the issue is not in your Outlook setup, as @jonsie noted, then the help pages for Gmail below point to checking everything you've already checked from the Gmail side:

Actually, no e-mails here from the forum this morning either, so stand-down, @Cleoriff, but heads-up @Marjo and @LukasB (assuming @Martin-O2 is off today) - e-mail from Forum is piling up somewhere, it is definitely not getting out to people's e-mail accounts!

Actually edited to say the Notifications system may be partly to blame, as this thread shows no update since last pm:

No change at all my end. Other half sat up for a couple of hours after I went to bed, trying every fix possible. He doesn't use Gmail at all. What he did discover was a major outage of Google services on Monday which apparently lasted an hour and is now resolved.

It IS linked to the forum though. I use btinternet for most other things and try to keep gmail for the forum.

However, a couple of places like Moonpig and a giphy site have my gmail address. I have had emails from them since the outage.

Also a couple of test emails from Ray and a friend of mine have come through fine.

So a problem with gmail linked to this forum for me.

Edited to add, no isssue with onsite notifications which ar working fine and up to date.

Had a couple of mention emails come through this morning - for the Monday quiz, and the Wednesday one.
Are you missing ALL emails (mentions, new posts, etc) or just some @Cleoriff?

Oh, it's not - I'm just not getting any forum e-mail.
Have been into settings and toggled No email" off and on, no difference...
Must go in and mark a few threads "read" after toggling the subscribe/unsubscribe option at thread level...
What a palaver.
