Calling a uk mobile from abroad.

Anonymous

Hello. I'm going on holiday to Cape Verde and need to keep in touch with my mum. She's in the uk and only has a pay as you go mobile, no landline. Will she be charged if I ring her? Thanks in advance!

No but you will pay unless you use Tu over a wifi connection in which case it will be free.

Conventional calls from your mobile will cost you £1.50/minute or part minute on pay monthly and £1.49/min on P&G.

If you are contract it is well worth setting up TU before you go.
