I have read that a lot of people complain about Apple's USB cable and claim it to be too fragile (myself included).
Is it true that if you take your broken USB cable to Apple, then they will replace it for a brand new one for free?

Ah shucks - if only I knew this sooner.
I have lost count of the number of official cables that I have had to buy from Apple just weeks after getting one with a new product that I have purchased.

My cables don't fray - they completely snap.
I'm sure anyone who has an Apple product knows that you are lucky to get a few weeks out of a cable before needing to purchase a new one.

I've never had to replace an Apple cable, though I do have a few spare, more for the convenience of having one at work one in the car etc.
I'll probable get a broken one now eh?

Will they flatten out any bends in the cables for you?
