Using a unlocked Vodafone dongle on O2 network

We have been sent unlock codes for Vodafone dongles but are having difficulties putting them in as they timeout or do not give an option to enter the code. The one person who has successfully entered the code can still not get on the network as it won’t connect. Could someone send us an idiots guide of how to unlock and then make the dongle work with O2?

Have you asked Vodafone as they may have a different process?

In general, you have to login to the single control panel and go into settings to release the network locks.
