Four years of updates for business customers.

 

Hope this slowly becomes the norm for all phones or three years at least, lack of updates is why I peronally switched from Samsung to HMD (Nokia) who have been as good as their word with monthly updates.

I'm not on callout so I don't qualify for a work phone which I'm glad about slight_smile but no unfortunately.

 

Because of my job though I do think about device security and think it's time all customers got a bit more from phone manufacturers although manufacturers would argue they provide support for the average lifetime of the phone with the first customer.

Companies generally provide two years of updates - from when the phone is launched.
If you buy it 6-12 months after launch then you might see it last the 2 years, but as more and more networks offer 36 month contracts this is less likely.
