for some reason my iphone 7 wont allow me to send emails, how can i rectify this, do i have to delete the account and enter the details again.

Try sending ACTIVE to 2020 first then reboot the phone.
If you still have the same problem then yes delete and reenter your account.

I found the iOS client dodgy at the best of times, unless I had an iCloud address. Which client are you using?

When I have had problems with my emails (sending or receiving) from my btinternet address, I just delete the account and reinstall. Always sorts the problem for me... (though I don't use an iphone)
