if i order a refurbished iphone how does it come delivered? does it come in an apple box?

It should do...When the phone is returned it has to be returned in the box it came in @birdeleanor1998

So it will be sent out in that

Hi @birdeleanor1998 refurbished phones come in generic o2 cardboard packaging, not Apple official ones.

As a matter of interest, what do they do with the original boxes the phones are returned in?

I guess they chuck them away, but like new and refurbished are 2 different things.
So potentially, like new phones could come in original box, but refurbished don't.
