iPhone5 lock

I'm currently tearing my hair out thanks to O2's policy of not unlocking the iPhone 5/their refusal to do it. I purchased my handset outright.

My question; where in their T&C's does it say they can do this? How are they able to do this when I own the handset?

If I wanted a sim free & unlocked I phone then the Apple store would be the place to go.

It's ok, I've left O2 and have an iPhone 5 on Three.

Since my iPhone camera developed a fault (very small stains on the screen), I exchanged it for a replacement with Apple. Instead of putting an O2 sim in I put a Three sim in and... Goodbye O2!

I've found another way "around" it. I have a mifi dongle with Three that I have been using with my laptop for ages.

Finally, the penny dropped and now I use this (wifi) with my locked iPhone5 in areas where the O2 signal is poor. Dunno why it took me so long to realise!

Haven't heard anything, not even rumours.  Sorry.
