iPhone 6 and o2 Open discount code

Hello All,

I have been given a 02 Open code from a friend, today I went into a o2 store to pre-order the iPhone 6 and was told the open code cannot be applied to iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus because o2 are delaying the open code discount for iphone 6 and iphone 6 plus handsets. Is this true??

I don't see that the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus is not mentioned in o2 open code discount terms and conditions - http://www.o2.co.uk/termsandconditions/rewards/o2-open-terms-and-conditions

Has anybody been in to a store anymore recent to see if they're accepting the O2 Open Codes on the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus? I'm due an upgrade on the 3rd of Febuary and I'm looking to use my code for the 6 Plus I have looked on O2 Opens FAQ's and it states " Are there any exceptions?

We don't include IPad Air 2, iPad Mini 3, Pay & Go, Any Non O2 Refresh Tariffs, sharer plans or business accounts in the O2 Open Scheme"

Nowhere in the FAQ's mention that the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus is excluded in the Scheme has anyone any update?

I believe they are now including the iPhone 6

It used to state the iPhone 6 models were excluded where you've seen in the facts where it now only states about the iPads.

We had somone on here at the beginning of the week posting that Open Code was now available for the iPhone 6.  I can't find the thread but know that many thanked the OP for the heads up...:smileywink:

Last week I acquired the iphone 6 (Holloway O2) and was 'sold' the monthly tarif by the O2 Rep on the basis that I can claim a discount through the open discount code. 

'We' worked the best offer penny to penny.

I now find, through this thread, I cannot claim the open discount on the iphone 6.  I have documentation completed by the rep in his own handwriting, althougn nothing more.  What can I do, I'm clearly not happy now and feel cheated?

The open code is now available on iPhones 6 models as long as it's taken out within 28 days of the contract date.

So the O2 store Rep was correct in saying you can have the discount if your company is eligible. They got this right. 

I I think you may have read something wrong in this thread.
