Just a quick question regarding the iPhone 6. Will customers due an upgrade for their phone be given priority over pre-orders of the iphone 6?

Yeah, I'm having the same experience. I was told on Friday that my phone was going to be dispatched that day, and I received the "your order is being processed" email - the same one I received when I first ordered, mind you. And heard nothing since.
As the 64GB Space Grey model seems to be by far the most popular, it just looks like the online store vastly underestimated the time it would take for stock to arrive and be sent out to those who had ordered. Those of us who were originally given estimates of 14 days, I reckon we don't have grounds to really complain until after 14 business days. I ordered on September 24th so 14 business days is October 14th.
I am however tempted to cancel my order and go into my local store and see if they have any stock. Do you have to wait a day after cancelling?

An update for anyone who ordered their 64gb Space Grey at round the same time as me (September 19th).
Just spoke to someone at customer service who seemed relatively competant. She said that although I had been quoted 2-3 weeks delivery time at time of ordering, the reality was more like 4-6 weeks. I said, fine, I'll cancel the order and re-order a 128gb - which is showing as in stock on the website. She spoke to retentions and they said there's no point in doing that as the website is WRONG - they don't have stock of any of the models!
Don't know what to believe any more. Has anyone who ordered the same model at around the same time heard differently?

I guess I'll wait until my 3 weeks are up and then work out what to do. I also made an official complaint a few days ago so I suppose I should wait to hear back about that... so boring.
I know others have said it before but it baffles me to think that O2 wouldn't have had a vague idea that they'd need to prepare for a high volume of orders. I would have been much happier if they'd just been realistic from the start.

Thought I would pop in to my local CPW to see if I could get a SG 64GB iphone 6+ in store and then cancel my order. Was told that Apple were meant to deliver stock yesterday but this has been delayed by 3 weeks so they and uk retailers are not expecting stock of the SG models until 24th October so looks like the wait will continue!!

thanks for the info Andr3w. Did they say whether this was for ALL SG models? All SG 6+ models etc?
This is the useful kind of update that would keep a lot of people quiet and probably save a whole host of unnecessary anger aimed at LC/CS... I've been following this thread since pre-order day but ultimately didnt order until I'd had a chance to compare 6 and 6+ (and confirm that the 6+ wasnt too big for me!)... however didnt stop me being shocked at the whole process...
Nonetheless, we should all save ourselves the stress of worrying with LC/CS as any information about stock is clearly much higher up the food chain at O2 (unlike CPW clearly - but thats just the way it is!). Save yourselves the heartache and frustration guys and just stick it out...
128gb 6+ SG ordered on 02/10 - "in progress".

I didnt really ask as I was interested in the SG 64Gb + sorry, but looking at the CPW they have SG 128Gb 6+ in stock for next delivery apparently!
To be fair I spoke to CS/LC twice yesterday and they said it would be 4 to 6 weeks from date of order for me the 23rd which puts the 24th October in this time frame. It also makes sense why I was told up to 14 days when I ordered on the 23rd if they were expecting deliveries yesterday from Apple. I just cant believe anything they say!
Can't understand why CS are not more open and honest, if Apple are not delivering we cant expect to get a phone, that is not O2's fault!!

Agreed, my real issue is that had it said 4 - 6 weeks when ordering I wouldn't have ordered the phone. I am fairly impatient when it comes to things like this so would have just consigned myself to waiting to all the excitement had died down and then ordered next day delivery. But I ordered when the expection had been set that it would be "up to" 14 days which led me to believe that had confirmed stock, which appears not to be the case. Now they have my money and I have no phone and they don't seem to care. I had hoped to sell my current phone before the cc bill came in for 6+ to reduce the cost but it appears that is now unlikely!
