Just a quick question regarding the iPhone 6. Will customers due an upgrade for their phone be given priority over pre-orders of the iphone 6?

spoke to 4 live chat guys today, reguarding the stock, two said there is no stock at all and they are waiting on it, and ill have to wait 2 weeks still, and one said i should get my order this week, and the other said i should be getting dispatch email shortly. I think they just lie to everyone to 'keep them happy' as im sure they get 1000s of people complaining about delayed orders.

ah and one also advised me to go into a o2 store that has it in stock, make the purchase there and cancel the online order. 

 

lets see if the phone turns up this week =[

@Anonymous yep - just setting it up now - went in at lunchtime on the off chance and told it wouldn't be in this week - left a bit disappointed but then got the text 45 minutes later - just got in before closing time and already pleased - even typing this message is miles easier with the larger keyboard! Enjoy your new 6+!

There's no question that live chat are lying to customers to avoid any conflict. I was lied to yesterday when I asked about delivery. Was told it was being delivered today which was a load of BS.

 

Was told there was no record of this online chat as they are logged automatically. I checked this later this morning and was told it only goes on the system if the advisor logs it manually.

 

Disgraceful way to do business...

yes! i had been put on the priority list before when sending angry chat messages and today i got asked if i wanted to be put on it again... surely if they do it once itl be visible to them. ski just replied with, ' well clearly the last 3 times i got told i was going to be put on that list should show and there wouldn't be a need for you to ask me again' and just exited the chat out of anger >=O

Yeap I am getting a bit fed up with the whole thing.  Tried to order mine SG 64Gb plus on the opening pre-order day.  Website crashed and by the time I got back in the waiting time was 2 to 3 weeks so decided against ordering.  Then the wait time went up to 6-7 weeks so vowed to wait until all the excitment had died down and the availability was better.  By the 23rd wait time had reduced to up to 14 days.  Decided to order and parted with my cash.  By my maths I should be in receipt of said phone by tomorrow.....now getting told I will have to wait for another 2 weeks, the whole process is unbelievable.  It feels like o2 headquarters are just waiting for phones to be parachuted in but they have no idea when and if they are going to arrive.

The Customer Service (obviously in India) via online chat is terrible. They constantly lie. I was told when ordering my 6+ 64gb SG on 23/9 that it would be up to 15 days. When contacting O2 on Sunday night I was told it will be with me Monday or Tuesday. I got an email straight after ( the standard processing email and will receive it shortly). My order still showed in progress last night so I tried again. This time I was advised up to 7-10 days due to demand! I was then conveniently cut off. So I tried again and this time advised up to 4-6 weeks!! REALLY!!!! I complained and asked to be put through to a manager and was. He advised 4-6 weeks, but he had just pushed my order through manually and now showed order fulfilment and would be dispatched shortly. I have checked my email this morning and have received again the standard processing email. My status online is still showing in progress!! All lies O2 and shocking to see!

Phoned Customer service today at 8am. Person on the other end said that my order was in the dispatch stage and should be with me in 1-5 working days. I told him that LC was telling me up to 4-6 weeks and he ASSURED me that it was wrong.

 

I ordered SG Iphone 6 64GB.

 

Any thoughts guys? Do you think he is telling the truth?

From previous experience (not this time as I went in store this time though!) the CS guys generally have much better visibility than LC. LC have access to some of the same data ,but not all. I'd take the CS view over the LC view any day - that's not to say it's accurate, but probably more accurate than what LC think.

 

Despite some of the poor service I've had over the past couple weeks, I've had a couple really illuminating conversations that have really helped, and both were with CS. LC gave me a load of pony and then refused to take it any further - CS tried to help where possible and were reasonably up front when they couldn't help.

 

Hope your phones arrive soon - I was waiting a total of 19 days from the launch date, so it could be a long wait, but well worth it. Hang in there!

I've had yet more lies from LC this morning. They are now saying 4-6 weeks! It was 14 days when I ordered it.

They are saying I have inaccurate information, so basically they are calling me the liar. Either that or they are saying that I can't read. Am now in what seems like a never ending queue on the phone and have to start work in less than 10 mins. I will never use live chat again.

Care to give us an official response at some point o2? You have a lot of annoyed customers right now and you are doing nothing for them but treating them like they mean nothing to you. I sincerely hope you are not in the running for any customer service awards this year because it would be farcical if you won any.

Just spoke to CS and they advised out of stock and will be in stock within 5 working days...I give up now and don't believe anything either LC OR CS say!!!
