Note it's no longer called champagne as the makers of the wine complained !

Hi,
Any ideas/predictions on how much the iPhone 5C will cost on contract? As in, how much will the phone cost to start off with and then how much to pay each month.
For a 'budget' iPhone, it's not looking so cheap after all. But I'm hoping the contracts will be reasonable.

It's all speculation until the networks pack it in with their game of chicken but I'd take a look at what the 4S costs now and add £3-5 a month on for a 16GB 5C and £5-10 a month on for a 32GB as a wild stab in the dark

Best just to wait for the published prices instead of second-guessing.

apple approve all lte carriers and until approved will not let them user the 4g (do not think this will be an issue but maybe why not shown on the lte iphone info page yet)

I really can't see why Apple should need this type of control, it all seems a bit big brother to me.

So if you have the 4g promise and want to upgrade you also have to pay a upfront fee of over £100 its actually cheaper to buy one from apple store.

Can someone please clear this up for me? Will the iPhone 5s be available to pre-order? I've tweeted, used Live Chat, phoned customer services and I've been given conflicting information. Some advisors said it will NOT be available to pre-order and instead will launch in store on 20th September, while others have said it WILL be available to pre-order on 13th September along with the iPhone 5c. My upgrade is due around the same time and I've been waiting for this model to launch so any help would be greatly appreciated!
