So we have the 5c plastic iPhone and iPhone 5s in silver , gold and space grey.
Note it's no longer called champagne as the makers of the wine complained !
A7 64 bit chip for 5s
A6 chip for 5c

To be perfectly honest - I was totally underwhelmed by Apple's announcement thje other day!
I currently have an iPhone 5 and to be honest, neither the iPhone 5C OR the iPhone 5S is a worthwhile upgrade for me! Sure - the 5C looks nicer and may be a little faster but thats it - definatelty not worth an upgrade!
Same goes for the 5S - yes it has a fingerprint scanner (thats more of a gimmick IMHO - its just as quick to 'Slide to Unlock' as it is to wait for the scanner to recognise you to unlock your phone!!), better camera, has 4G (not bothered about that at all seeing as 4G is ONLY available in central London and other places and nowhere near where I live) and is a quicker phone but again - really not worth an upgrade!
I think I am quite lucky with my o2 contracts (which have always been 2 year ones apart from the 3G one) - had the iPhone 3G on a 1 year contract which ended in September when the iPhone 4 came out so upgraded to that on a 2 year contract.
I then bypassed the 4S (same reasons as above - ceratinly not a worthwhile upgrade from a 4 to a 4S!!!) and upgraded to the iPhone 5, when my contract ended in September again.
Now that the 5C and 5S are coming out - bypassing them again and waiting for my contract to end next September when the iPhone 6 will be released.

I queued at O2 stores for my 4 and my 5, and if I decide to go for the 5S and it is available in store I'd happily queue again. This time though I may wait a while and see what people have to say about the phone. I'd like the extra speed and am in London so 4G would be an advantage and the info about the camera sound like I may get better photos from it (pictures I currently take are find to upload to Facebook/Twitter but don't stand up well as printed photos but I am a rubbish photographer).

I also queued for my iPhone 4 - it was my first ever experience of queuing for ANY product, but it was really fun.
I drove to the Apple store in Kingston (which is only an hour away from where I live) with a total random stranger which I had been talking to on these very forums (luckily he turned out to be ok and not an axe wielding murderer!!) and got there around 8 am. We were quite near the front and were in and out with our new phones within an hour of the store opening!
With my 5 however, i really couldn't be bothered with doing all that again and just called up Phones4U on release day and upgraded through them. They sent out my new iPhone within 2/3 days which was pretty good!!
I suggest that if people are gonna queue - get down there early!!!!

It will be the same this year when demand inevitably outstrips supply.
