Can anyone explain why my son has started receiving my text messages hours later instead of instantly ?
We are both O2 customers and both have iPhones.

Try removing the sim and wiping it with a dry cloth and see if it improves at all.

Are they going as iMessages over data or as text messages over the normal voice network ?

Two Questions:-
1. Does this problem only occur with your son, or is it with other people as well?
2. Do messages from him to you also take a long time or is it just from you to him?
