Hi,

Can anyone help - sometimes get a message failure message but the person I am sending to, recives the same message 3 times. Then if I re-send it, they receive it another 3 times !

Any way to avoid this happening please ?

Hi @Foxxy first thing I'd try is a new sim card.

Your local O2 shop will swap yours for free.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hi @Foxxy

The first thing to try is to remove your sim, clean it and reinsert.

If this fails you will probably need a new sim. You can order them online, or by ringing customer services

on 202 or 4445.

The quickest way would be to pop instore and get a new sim from them. They will swap everything over for you.

Best of luck and welcome to the forum Welcome

I have the same issue occasionally. It is normally down to network congestion. When you send your txt it will go to the network for onward delivery to its destination. If the network is busy then the txt will be stored temporarily by the network to be delivered when a slot becomes free. Often the message sent back by the network is slower than the store and forward of your message which then means when you hit retry it sens your message again. In my experience if it happens multiple times turn off your device and reboot. This normally resolves any issues.
