Found a lost iPhone, what now?

Anonymous
Not applicable

Found a lost iPhone 5C, I have the IMEI number. The phone has already been blocked; had to check the SIM to find this service provider.

Anywhoo what should I do now, how do I make sure that the phone gets back to it's actual owner?

Thanks,

Call customer service http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus and the police and give them the information. With any luck the owner of the phone has done the same, so getting the phone back to them shouldn't be difficult.

Hand it in to the Police as it will most likely have an insurance policy paid out on it so will belong to the insurance company now.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
