I was trying to reset my phone by taking SIM out and reinserting it.  I somehow damaged the SIM!

 

I need new SIM with same original number but as I have no working SIM I am unable to call 02 even though it is a free call

Your best bet is to pop to an o2 store with Photo ID and they can give you a replacement sim.
