Hi I’ve had several calls to 02 today. I have a new Apple Watch and connected it this morning but ever since I’ve had absolutely no signal on the phone or watch. The watch said to contact 02. They’ve reset it to idata but no luck. I can’t connect to WiFi calling as the phone won’t allow and says contact 02 yet 02 say it’s enabled. I have reset the phone, took the sun out, disconnected the watch... everything I can think of. Does anyone have any advice?

Check for network faults here O2 Service Status

You also need to ask O2 if iData is enabled on your account.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Hi,
Thank you for your response. There is a mast down in this area, but it wouldn’t connect out of this area either. There are 2 others in the house connected to 02 without issues.
They’ve assured me iData is connected but all I have is .... where the signal would usually show

Did you get the watch from O2 @KateH ?

If so are you sure you bought it as an addition and not as an upgrade?

Hi, yes it’s from 02 and as an addition. It shows as belonging to this phone in the online account.

It says it’s enabled but my phone says it isn’t and won’t allow it. Tells me to contact 02.

Then it's 99.9% certain you don't have iData enabled @KateH

They’ve said twice now that it is. I will call them again tomorrow! Unless it takes time to activate

If they did it today, it may need to update on the system overnight.

Reboot your phone in the morning to check.
