no internet away from home

Anonymous
Not applicable

i recently got a one plus 3 phone and i cannot get the internet on my phone when i am away from my home. When i am at home i use my home wifi and there is no problem, as soon as i step outside my house, nothing. When im out and about i have to use the free wifi supplied by the place i am in ie, the pub or hotel.

What could be causing this issue? Thanks for any help you can give.

You need to set your data apn and make sure you have data enabled on your o2 sim in the phone dual sim settings.

That would be the next thing to check if phone settings are all correct.
There is an often missed data switch in the dual sim settings menu which catches most people out.

YES I was having the same problem with the Galaxy J7 Prime that I've just bought to replace the Note 4.
