got conned into buying a 12 month contact on a huawei pad took deleivery no manual, and wont make calls or recive them anyboby elase had this problem

I'm assuming you bought it from O2?

If so, they only sell it with a data sim so calls won't work.

You'll need to get a sim only phone sim if you want calling capability.
