Wi-Fi calling on OnePlus 5

Anonymous
Not applicable
So get this message from O2

It's time to say goodbye to TU Go.

We're closing it on 30 November. But you can keep using it right up until then.

To learn more and see what options are available to you including Wifi Calling, visit: http://s.o2.co.uk/dYyk1cTF

Which I need for the poor reception at home. However when you have only set up wi-fi calling for Sony, Samsung and iPhones and not any of the other phones you currently sell it is seriously short sited.

So when will Wi-fi calling be available for the OnePlus 5?

Too sensible and would show a level of care and compassion.

Wi-Fi calling seems to be arriving on the OnePlus 5!

I'm using the beta Oreo build, and beta 2 came down OTA yesterday - and it had "O2" mentioned in the name.

After logging into my O2 account to enable it, the options then appeared in the SIM & network options to turn it on, and now I have a VoWiFi icon at the top slight_smile

Can confirm this.

If you are running the Oreo Beta 2 then go into the my O2 app scroll down on your main phone and at the bottom you can click the box which will take you to the WiFi & 4G calling request screen

I do recall the 5 and 5T being mentioned as inline for it but not the 3 or 3T.

So I have Oneplus 5 running Oreo with the latest release (5.01) with 4g calling enabled on my account and I do not have the options available to enable VOWifi or VO 4g. I guess it was removed from the final release.
