One of the App icons on my homescreen on the Note 2 has changed but the Icon in the App drawer hasn't

This is how it looks now Screenshot_2014-08-22-19-37-12.png  Don't know

Is that to do with the KitKat update?

There's no reason for KK to change any app icons - It looks to me like it's lost the programme.
What about if you remove the icon from homescreen and re apply it?

Odd thing is that the program opens from it. Anyway I've removed and re-added it and it's got the correct icon now. I was just curious as to what may have happened,

I've had a similar thing happen in the past with an app but it wouldn't open - It was like it was half deleted.
Never did figure out why though.....

I've had the KK update but the widget hasn't changed. Same in app drawer and home screen.

Could the root cause be because the app is installed to your SD card rather than the phone itself?

That sometimes does happen when you move them, I ended up moving a few back to the phone or reinstalling them.
