I recently attempted to get my Sony Xperia Miro phone unlocked by O2, however the unlatching code provided did not work. After querying the problem with O2 it became apparent that my phone may be, for some reason, hard locked. They advised me to take it to the nearest customer service centre. However I can't find any information on customer service centres at all online. When I enquired in an O2 shop they didn't know what to do.
Does anyone know where I can get information on O2 service centres from, or if perhaps they are instead referring to a Sony service centre?

You really need now to contact Sony support. After a set number of attempts the phone will hardlock if either its the wrong code or its been entered incorrectly.

And go to "contact" in order to send an email describing the issue, I imagine they will report back with a paid for quote as O2 have supplied the incorrect unlatching code for whatever reason.
However, service may be limited due to the Miro becoming end of serviceable life on Nov 18th 2016, so options may be very limited.

Sod's law is that anyone given a code will attempt too many times to enter the code. I fear the worst and that the phone is now hardlocked.
If it's the wrong code given by O2 then you could eventually get a new phone from them. If it's user error then .....
