Hi . I sent a 125 character text , no attachments , no emojis . I got the usual balance update after , saying Id been charged 15p . So far so good . About 30 seconds later another balance message popped up saying Id been charged 30p . I spoke to an online o2 person but they couldnt explain it . Ive no idea why Ive been charged 30p . Any help appreciated .

Sometimes can happen if the receiving phone doesn’t trigger the correct network command to say it’s been delivered.
Maybe customer service will refund you the 15p if you ask them?

Im not even sure if the 30p charge is connected to the text . Im just assuming it is as it happened 30 seconds later . If they are connected Ive been charged 45p for one text .

Much better to call in all honesty.... if there is an error they will gladly refund it.
However it depends on your tariff. If you have to pay 25p to call to get your 30p back maybe it's not worth it but if it's an O2 issue they will refund you the cost of the call too
