Hi everyone i upgraded my s4 to a htc one m8 and im having a bit of bother.I used the app from the play store htc transfer tool and truthfully it has been a bit of a nightmare.I managed to get my pics and contacts transferred but not the texts messages. Then i had to spend hours trying to find a way to do it and i found an app to solve it.The problem im having now is setting up my email account.I have it set up but i can check my old emails. For some reason i can only see yesterdays.Anyone any ideas?Truthfully as nice as the phone is is turning out to be a bit of a curse. In two minds here to return it.Thanks

I use the htc app without any issues.
In the app settings you have a section called sync, send and receive. Make sure you choose your desired download options in there.

Hi

I'm not sure if this is your issue but when I first started setting mine up I chose IMAP instead of pop3

I would if it was me delete the email settings and go again.

Good luck.

I'm using yahoo through Bt mate and some of us here are having these issues.

I get late e mails or batches of them when someone replies to one of the posts I've replied in. For example I should have for one for your reply but none has come through.

Some think it's the lithium software here.

I know Bt are moving away from Yahoo and setting up BTMAIL but mine has not been moved over yet.

E mails from other places to me seem to come through fine though.
