In-call volume too LOW on Nexus 4!!!

Hi

I have a problem with my nexus 4. There was no problems with it until last week when i made a call and i couldnt hear anyone on the other end. This problem has persisted no matter what did. I tried a factory reset too but no luck. I tried putting phone on safe mode and still volume problem persists. Is there anything that can rectify it. I have been very happy with this phone up til now. I could have changed my phone when i was due for my upgrade a few weeks back but i didnt as i was happy with everything. my next upgrade is not due for another 6 months which is too long a wait with this problem. Please Please someone help!!!!! (the volume is fine when on loudspeaker but dont want everyone to hear my phone conversation so this is not a solution)

PS. Also the phone has been shutting down for no reason and not coming back immediately. since the factory reset earlier this evening, the phone hasnt turned off but will wait and see.

dont know if this is a software update issue or what. I really need someone help.

Hi

No cases or new shields.

No lint in the speakers.

You could approach the phone manufacturer through their uk website for support / repair.

Or as a last resort O2 repairs.

Edit;
Sorry just read your contract bit. Check in your myo2 for upgrade options or speak to Cs on 202 about perhaps the Refresh option.

If as above and nothing is covering the speaker (and your in call volume is up full) then it sounds like a blown speaker.
Either O2 or LG directly could look at repairing it under warranty.

Can't say I've had too many low volume problems other than through TuGo. However, I have been suffereing random spates of the Nexus 4 not coming back on for no reason. That then requires a special combo move of power on + volume down sticking in the charger then powering on. Or something equally annoying. No idea why but I've got myself another phone (Moto X) now as the other effect was that call quality/reception was getting worse.

Its now relegated to my last-gasp-use phone as its way out of warranty but fortunately its got another forthcoming use as Arduino shield device.
