Sending pictures by Text.

Sony Z1compact.   Suddenly I cant send photos via text, just says queued for sending, any ideas, help would be much appreciated.

Answers in words of one syllable please....

3g and not had problem till about 3 months ago......

Ok on your phone can you please go to:

Settings
More Networks
Mobile Networks

And in the box called Network Mode what does it say or what is ticked please @Littlemo

Network Mode   4G (preferred)/WCDMA/GSM

I would call cs and ask them to re-provision mms on your account.
It will take 24 hours to reset.

Ok so the next thing to do is to ascertain exactly which network you are on as the handset could pick any.

Can you change that setting to WCDMA only and try to send the mms

@MI5 my gut feel is that they are in a 2g area and so mms not sending. I think they are picking up 2g signal

I think it's the phone, other Sony phones in the hosue send picture msg and we're all on o2....

Well that seems pretty conclusive then @Anonymous We didnt realise that other Sony phones in the house (on O2) have no problems.

If you have checked all the advice given by @MI5 and @viridis (who are both expert with Sony phones) then it must be an issue with your phone. (Although I note from an earlier post that you say it was working well sending pictures up till 3 months ago?).....

Call customer service and get mms reprovisioned on your account as MI5 said.
Or
Connect to pc companion and backup then perform repair installation.
