Solved: Samsung s8 pre-orders - Page 5

Hi everyone, I have pre-ordered the s8 plus as an upgrade and as far as I know I should be getting it 8 days early, so around the 20th I think. However when I was chatting to o2 customer service on the phone he said that they will start shipping the phones tomorrow! Does anyone know if there is any truth in this? Or does anyone else have any details?

Yay! My tracker is live and and my parcel has been collected, delivery date is set for tomorrow. Happy days

Looks like I'm gonna have to buy one when I get home. Trouble is, I need a dual sim version!

Finally i see some progress! O2 just text me saying: "Hi, you've recently had a message from our delivery partner to say that your Samsung Galaxy S8 would be delivered on 18 April.

We're sorry, there's been a mistake, and it'll be with you tomorrow instead.

We'll text with a new delivery time a soon as possible. Sorry if this causes any inconvenience."

The 'tray' that holds the sim and sd memory is one tray. I believe you can place 2 sims in the tray instead of 1 sim and SD Memory card. Check with Samsung though

That will be cool if it works. My Leagoo worked like that too.....

Will not work like that. Has to the the specific DUOS model as it has slightly different internals as well as firmware. Same thing was discussed with the S7 where people even tried to flash the Dual Sim f/w without success.

No idea if my s8 plus that I've preordered is coming tomorrow, I've heard nothing since i got the order confirmation back in march. Parcel tracking says

Sorry, your -O2- parcel has not arrived with us; we'll let you know as soon as it does and confirm it's on its way to you
