Also may be worth cleaning the sim card and rebooting the phone.

Yes, my Nokia Lumia 800 was better, my Moto Razr V was even better.

I live in a rural area and now find it impossible to use the O2 service at home unless I'm at the front of my house.

Yes I informed 02 many times they have told me there are no faults with their equipment
