Hi I'm trying to find out if O2 will support the new Samsung galaxy A70 (or just the new A range in general) for WiFi calling the phone is more than capable, so find it strange that they don't already support it.

Hi @Penfold , @MI5  and all!

Just checked and have got some good news: the A70 is now supported for wifi calling, and if you check the page now you can see it there, plus the other devices in the new A series! thumbsup

Are you thinking of getting the A70 yourself @Penfold ?  We have a new review written by a community member about the A70 here if you'd like to take a look. slight_smile

@Penfold

It should be. Most new Samsung phones, including A range, already supported.

Thanks for the reply M15,I just contacted O2 and they referred me to the same list and the customer service representative just basically said,if your phone is not on this list we don't support it. so currently the new Samsung A range is not supported at all. As for the old A range they only support a few selected phones

Just to add, that's really bad considering O2 are selling the new A range on there own store yet there not going to support it and at present have no plans to...

There are lots of phones they sell which aren't supported so if it's important to you, make sure before you buy.

Great some of the new A devices getting listed.

List a bit off though as no Note 9 mentioned although it works.

@Cleoriff  , you are right, the note 9 is listed. My mistake. Read it numerous times and was sure it was missing. 😂.

In my defence ASDA has Kraken dark rum on offer ATM.
