I once did exactly the same (losing my contacts) as they were only stored to my phone.
Luckily my other half had most of them so I had to bluetooth them back to my phone.
I made sure they were saved to sim from that time onwards...:smileywink:

I beg to differ...out of necessity I now have to remember all birthdays, addresses, anniversaries, due dates for home insurance, car insurance, MOT, gas & electric readings, doctor and hospital appointments, hatched, matched and despatched and lord knows what else....
God help me without my phone and everything is multi backed up to Google, drive, cloud, pc and the old fashioned pen & paper!:smileysad:
