Guys, I'm sorry you feel we're not communicating with you enough, but we just want to make 100% sure you get accurate information. That takes some time, but as I said; as soon as I get information, I'll share it with you.
"Leonard" - It's nice to hear from the "friendly face" but surely there is SOMEONE in your Multinational corporation that actually KNOWS what is going on! Why is it so hard to get a straight answer from them rather than simple platitudes from the Nice guy persona "Leonard"? If you really do not have the authority to ask the question and get an answer, perhaps your line manager could do so... or his/hers....or his/hers... Bsasically - Why not escalate this until we find someone who knows the answer/cares enough to tell us/has the authority to tell us If it's bad news, then fine - take it on the chin and just 'fess up.

where are people reading that Samsung are the cause of the delay here?
I havent seen anything to say that samsung have suspend rollout, if anything the news is the gearing up to push Voda on monday.
The massive battery drain etc is all news from June 2012, and with 3 running JB for awhile now you would assume any issues are not core.

Voda are proposing a phased rollout from monday according to CNET. you still may get yours before.

The straight answer quite simply is: "We were expecting it to on Friday and are working with Samsung to figure out what went wrong and will update ASAP". I'm not sure what else we could say until we're completely sure the next update we give you is correct.

The update was due yesteday. Most updates drop in the morning. O2 have known since yesterday morning this wasnt going to happen yet chose to not say anything to the people who actually keep this company going. Us.
Samsung will have told them yesterday morning what the issue was. I know its not your fault but, in the day and age it takes seconds to get information. Not 2 days.

I'd be curious to see where you had that information from, Neo and would love to see proof of that. I checked 3 times yesterday and was told we would get the update yesterday, but you might be better informed than I am.
At the risk of sounding like a broken record; we're trying to find out what happened and once we'll know, I'll let you know.

Please remember Leonard and Toby are not O2 staff. They are here.to try to act as a go between. If O2 won't/don't give them any information then they are flying.in the dark just like us.
I realise this - So WHY are O2 not bothering to talk to us? - Really bored now. Goodnight xxx
