Hi All,

Just got a new samsung galaxy s5 (which i love!) only problem i've found is when i'm listening to music and exercising (ie out for a run yesterday or at the gym tonight) after about 40 minutes the volume just goes haywire and either turns down to nothing, or turns up full blast involuntarily! When i turn and readjust it to the correct volume it just does it again straight away and i have to pull the headphone out and put them back again

It only seems to do it when exercising as i was listening to music all day at work today without a problem! Is this a known thing and is there anyway it can be fixed, it's so annoying!

Thanks!

Helen

If a simple reset or deleting an redownloading your music perhaps doesn't work then I'd act swiftly and have it replaced if it was me.

Maybe it just doesn't like my music so is turning it down for taste & decency purposes haha!

Is a simple reset just a battery pull? I was consdiering getting it changed but as it used to happen on my old s2 as well i'm wondering if it's something i'm doing by mistake!

Unless your music is recorded at different volume levels it's most likely something pressing the volume buttons.
Where is the phone when you exercise and what type of exercise do you do?

The phone is usually on a running arm band or resting on a cross trainer or treadmill, the most annoying thing is when it starts happening and I readjust the volume, it goes straight down again while the phone is still in my hand, I have to take the headphones out or restart the phone to make it stop!
