You beat me by a few minutes to announce this! smile

I can officially confirm the S7 & S7 Edge Oreo updates are now available. Unfortunately there was a slight hold-up on Samsung's end but we're happy to see this is now out in the hands of our customers. Please go give it a go and let us know what you think.

Going from Nougat to Oreo you'll probably notice some changes - visual and functional. Let us know what you like most slight_smile

Dear @Chris_K

That's great news! Gives some hope to see Oreo on A5 2017 devices too...

Does it take awhile for it to rollout to everyone? Checked my S7 and nothing yet

Also i know its recommended to do a factory reset, but cant really be bothered with the hassle of redownloading apps and setting them all up again. Is it OK to just install over Nouget?

It's OK until it isn't, if you get my meaning.

I usually wait to see if I have any issues and if not, leave it.

If I do - reset it.

Cheers guys.

Personally im not that bothered about Oreo. Im more than happy with Nouget. Although from experience once the phone has found an update it constantly nags you to install it. I dont think there is a way to stop the push notification coming through saying "update found" is there?

Not now but you can turn off auto updates to stop it looking in future, but you'll not get notified of security updates either.

Edit: Found it, You need to tap the build number 7 times to unlock dev options. From there you can turn automatic updates off
