Hey Folks,
If i just want to restart the LG Google Nexus 4, do i just go to Settings-Backup and Reset - Factory Data Reset?
Basically my micro sim and number porting needs a phone restart but I'm worried that everything will get erased off the phone if I do the above but I cannot see another way to turn the phone on and off. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I need help. Thanks!

Can you not just long press the on/off switch? This should give an option to switch off or restart? You don't want to reset the phone back to factory settings.

So how did you switch it on in the first place?

by putting the sim in..........maybe i should just do that as you can't remove the back or anything.
