Restart an LG Google Nexus 4

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hey Folks,

If i just want to restart the LG Google Nexus 4, do i just go to Settings-Backup and Reset - Factory Data Reset?

Basically my micro sim and number porting needs a phone restart but I'm worried that everything will get erased off the phone if I do the above but I cannot see another way to turn the phone on and off.  Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I need help.  Thanks!

I was going to suggest a battery pull but

1) it doesn't have a removeable battery

2) It's not a Blackberry Smiley LOL

I was tempted when I saw them back in stock yesterday, but decided to wait a bit longer.:smileyhappy:

The 8Gb has now sold out and the 16Gb is now on 5 - 6 weeks delivery.

I was going for the 8GB but quickly saw the delivery times so went for the 16GB. Painful process of ordering through Google which is quite shocking really. Doesn't accept AMEX even though its an accepted payment!

This was quite funny but everyone's allowed a fubar with a new toy wink

sheepdog, I've been following the play store ordering fiasco on XDA and Google just aren't good with their fulfilment as people who ordered while it stated 4-5 weeks shipment started receiving shipping details yesterday with tracking numbers, however those who ordered when it went back on with 1-2 weeks have yet to have any further info. Seems it's last in, first out with Google.

In summary their shipping times should be taken with a pinch of salt as they're useless with allocations.

You would have thought they'd have it sorted after the Nexus 1 but seems Google don't do online shopping. I'll be patient though as I'm not really expecting it before Christmas. Definitely not a great advert for the google empire.

Limited supply drives more desire for the product and ultimately results in more sales..... wink
