Problems after Samsung S2 update 4.1.2

Anonymous

Hi there,

Last week my phone decided to go all screwy on me and get into a 'force close' loop. I tried everything to fix it -even restoring it back to factory settings. Nothing seemed to work so i researched online and found that there was this new update. Plugged it into Kies and downloaded the new version 4.1.2. -Phone fixed...or so I thought.

The phone itself is fine, no more force close loops and everything is running smoothly, except that my network coverage keeps failing and I can't get any 3G signal. I can connect to the internet through wifi just not 3G. I've tried turning on and off the packet data buttons etc but nothing seems to work.

Any ideas??

Text the word "active" to 2020 then save the settings that get sent back to you. Re start the phone and try 3g again.

Take out the battery and SIM for 5 mins then reboot the phone. Failing that reset your network settings in Settings >More >Mobile networks.

Hi, thank you. I've done both those things several time over. I have a phone signal now and it's stayed all evening. Still no 3G though :S
