O2 Z4 tablet firmware stuck on 5.0.2

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello,

Just checked my firmware on my O2 Sony z4 tablet and its stuck on 5.0.2 LOLLYPOP! 😞

Just tried an OTA update and it says its not availible wich must be a fault as we are on nougat now.

How do I get this back up to date?

Thanks,

Sam

Download Xperia companion and try a repair or update through that

If you get trouble with the update engine when trying to update in Xperia companion, a full backup and repair installation will be needed.
Just a sidenote though,
OTA updates will fail, as well as Xperia companion updates, if the tablet is rooted.
If rooted, a flash back to stock will be required to re-enable firmware updates.
