Hi there,

I noticed i wasnt able to sign in to the Nougat Samsung Beta Program on my O2 Edge S7.

So wanted to know when Nougat will be coming to the O2 S7 Edge devices please?

XEU is nothing to do with O2 - Anyone on XEU is waiting for Samsung and when asked, they have no idea when it's being released.

Ok Thanks, Why would O2 supply different "types/CSC" of phones?

It appears to be Pot Luck on what you get given.

All O2 branded phones are TEF which means you get the o2 splash screen and inbuilt o2 apps.
Depending on stock levels and where you got the phone from you may also have XEU or BTU which come with the advantage of no o2 bloatware and are unlocked too, so you can use sim cards from other networks.

so it is pot luck from O2.

I'd have thought that if Samsung intend to update the XEU's they'd be in a position to give an expected date, even if it was as vague as Q4 2017.

I get the impression they wont bother, especially if the S8 is on the way.

They will bother but strangely XEU has taken a backseat to BTU.
Around end of March would be my guess....

Grandson still hasn't got his. Phone came from CPW (unlocked and sim free). He uses the EE network...(not that his network has anything to do with it) .....
