Lollipop Voicemail icon+card persistent with 0 voicemails

So, I have recently updated my xperia z3c to lollipop (finally) and the voicemail icon and lock screen card won't disappear, I've looked through my settings and in the app none of the phone/voicemail apps have notifications on, I've tried turning all of them on and then off again. Later I asked a friend to phone me and leave a voicemail however the phone kept ringing and wouldn't let him leave me a voicemail...Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Have you recently used TuGo?

i had the same problem with my nexus 5 when i removed TuGo and the only way i found i could get rid of it was using the steps below.

1. Install and set up TuGo

2. Use another handset/phone to call your xperia z3c and leave a voicemail of approx 1 minute long (you have to speak and loeave an actual message or it wont work, or at least it didnt for me).

3. open up tugo and list to the message using the visual voice mail option.

4. Delete the message from TuGo.

5. Deactivate TuGo by going into the settings

6. Uninstall Tugo

This worked for me on more that one occasion (as it happened more that once)

hope this helps

Switch your phone off and call it from your home phone. You can access the voicemail by entering your pin. Default pin is 8705 which you need to change. Listen to your messages and delete them.

You can also try 1760 to turn off vm and 1750 to turn it back on (you may have to use 176002 and 175002 if you have Tugo).

Use the options dropdown box but you only have an hour for edits. After that it's written in stone wink
