Hi, MI5, would it be too much trouble for you to pm me the instructions for upgrading to JB 4.2.2 please. I have requested an unlock code, although they are dragging their heels on it. Online chat wont help since they say I requested online. Thanks for your help.

Greetings,
New to the forums but anxiously waiting for the new update. Since it's not here yet though and I've heard mention of a safe way of getting it earlier I was wondering if I could please get the instructions for that too MI5? (Is it an official update by the way? And once the O2 UK version rolls out, will I be able to re-update to that via KIES or would I need to roll back to the previous one THEN re-update with the official one?)

It's non official and you would have to manually flash back to stock to get Kies to update you in future.... O2 would get sniffy about your warranty too (maybe) although Samsung would't care less. If you want to try it let me know.....

Aaahh fair enough! I'm due an upgrade towards the end of the year so if anything happens to the warranty it should be fine. Fairly knowledgeable when it comes to phones/technology so it's probalby safe for me to try.
