I cannot believe that this is 2013 and its taken this long to get no-where with the release of the Samsung Galaxy S2 firmware. O2 you are truly useless. What does it take for someone from the technical department to drop a few lines. "Guys were having problems with the O2 Arena wallpaper" I cannot believe that the release is out in Germany and not in the UK?!?!?!. Also the fact that the likes of Afghanistan, the Baltic, China, Denmark, The Dominican Republic, Hong Kong, Iraq and Ireland already have it. O2 what is going on why is there firstly no official update and why is it taking so long?

Rant over... My next phone is a... anything but O2 Phone.

Even if you had a non O2 phone in the UK you still wouldn't have JB yet..... Who are you moaning at exactly...?

I'm moaning at 02 why does it take Sooooooo Long? Spain has had the Firmware running since January. Your telling me if O2 has the will and the effort they could not release it the same week? Nah I think they have other priorities than the Galaxy.

Odin will give me the German O2 download. Change the Language settings sorted. BUT i should not have to, this is not Samsung this is O2 putting the delay on.

OK, and whilst I agree that O2 are hopeless, why haven't Samsung not released the UK version for open phones yet then?

On the flip side why had Vodaphone been able to release their firmaware? Commitment! Simple.

Honestly I don't know why Voda have gone for it before Samsung, but there has to be a reason that Samsung haven't released it... Maybe O2 tech know more detail but they'd never tell us if they did..... 😞

I really am struggling to fine a reason why Spain can release the firmware and the remainder not? There has to be issues somewhere. Quite why its so slow can only mean they are having issues!

I'll flag this to admin and see if they can find out any more info, but I'm inclined to think O2 will be waiting for Sammy....

To be honest I look at this forum post 3 or 4 times a day and connect up to Kies, to check whether the update's arrived. I don't even know why, as it will probably make little difference to the way I use the phone. It's the crazy build up of anticipation.

One question someone may be able to answer though, should the GT-I9100P get the JB update at the same time as the ordinary S2?
